Got store credit for just shopping there. Used the credit at their bakery and bought yummy goods. I understand the staff there are mostly older people but their customer service lacks compassion and friendliness. As a non Asian person i already feel intimidated shopping for things there due to lack of language on my part but when I get the courage to ask any questions I am always treated like im bothering them and they respond in a angry manner. Other than that I love shopping here.

99 Ranch Market is one of the best Chinese supermarkets in California. However, they stopped opening new stores in the Sacramento area after this one in South Sacramento and the second in Folsom. I guess the one in Folsom is not doing as well as they expect. The management at 99 Ranch Market stopped the growth in Sacramento. This store in South Sacramento is the first store 99 Ranch opened in the Sacramento area. It still looks great. The service is excellent. The meats and vegetables are fresh. The only problem is the area is not very safe. Parking after sunset does not feel comfortable!

I absolutely love shopping here. There are an abundance of choices for every style of Asian cooking here. The volume of choices for any item is mind blowing. Practically half an entire isle of kimchee, as an example. Fresh seafood. Even tanks of live seafood to choose. Hot deli items. Dim sum. A variety of Chinese selections. And my favorite, roast duck and crispy pork. There is a bakery with decadent choices. A tea vendor. Great fresh produce. This is a place that has to be experienced.

99 ranch has just about everything you could need, one stop shop for many items. Prices are good, selections are vast, and they even give you free bakery dollars to get free items after check out. Overall great spot! I frequent this location for hot pot and asian meal essentials.
